Legalization, Authentication of Documents and Signatures

The Embassy of the Republic of Rwanda to the Nordics wishes to inform the public that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda (MINAFFET), in partnership with Irembo, introduced from June 5, 2024 a digitalized process of legalization of public documents through Apostilles electronic (e-Apostilles).

 Documents apostilled abroad will be directly usable in Rwanda. Rwandan documents intended for use abroad will be processed digitally and be accessible via the online platform irembo.gov.rw.

To apply for;

1. Legalization of Rwandan public documents for use abroad (e-Apostilles)

2. Legalization of public documents originating from abroad to be used in Rwanda
