Exploring Rwanda's MICE Sector

The Embassy of Rwanda in Sweden, in partnership with the Rwanda Convention Board (RCB), recently organized an exclusive Networking Luncheon on 25th March 2024 at the Sheraton Stockholm Hotel. The gathering aimed to spotlight Rwanda's extensive potential in the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector, offering attendees a glimpse into the nation's event-hosting infrastructure and distinctive experiences.

The event attracted diverse attendees, including industry professionals, key stakeholders, and representatives from Rwanda and Sweden. Notable participants included:

The Networking Luncheon served as a platform not only for networking but also for engaging in discussions about Rwanda's vibrant landscape and myriad opportunities. One of the significant outcomes of the luncheon was the announcement of the SWEACC Business Forum, scheduled to be held in Rwanda in 2025. Planning for the forum has already commenced in collaboration with the Rwanda Convention Board, promising a fruitful platform for business interactions and partnerships.

Additionally, Business Sweden expressed a strong interest in forging potential partnerships with Rwanda post-event. This engagement signals the burgeoning interest and prospective collaborations between Sweden and Rwanda across various sectors.

In conclusion, the Networking Luncheon was a resounding success, bringing together professionals and stakeholders with shared interests in exploring Rwanda's MICE sector opportunities.
